Hopefully it will be fixed in next version. We have made the difficult decision to retire the Tucows Downloads site. Also no problem rendering mxf to the same folder. I am pretty sure it is issue between ISIS DaVinci, because I can move the file to the same folder if I render to desktop, which I can.

I have the same issue with DaVinci 11 and ISIS 5000. they either complete the write without error but are zero bytes or the Resolve reports a lack of permission (not so).Īnyone ever find a fix for this? If we have to ditch ISIS storage for Resolve it's going to blow a big hole in both our workflow and our wallet! Can export/write any file to the ISIS EXCEPT QT files. We have just built a new system using Resolve 11 on a 12-core nMP, Atto ThunderLink 10GbE and an ISIS 5500 chassis - same issue. If anyone does have any thoughts it would be very much appreciated. I get the same problem on Resolve 10 and 11. I'm assuming this is more an ISIS issue or an issue running ISIS / resolve on 10.9.4, but thought I would at least post here in case this comes up for anyone else. The partition is not FAT32 and I can copy QTs larger than 2GB through finder once the export has finished. I can't export any quicktime to the ISIS partition. The curious thing is that i can export to my desktop or external drives with no issues, AND even more curious I can export the same files as MXF and DPX to the ISIS partition without any issues.

I'm exporting Pro res QTs to an Avid ISIS 5000 partition. Greg Cooper wrote:I'm getting the same error, though with completely different circumstances. What else info can I deliver to get any help?

Installed the latest version of DaVinci Resolve (running it as an admin), latest drivers for my Nvidia GeForce GTX 760, Sony Vegas Pro and not much more and all I get is the same error message - although the file names, folder names, structure etc is all the same as before when Resolve worked flawlessly.Īfter I installed Win7 I disabled auto-update and only installed ServicePack 1, which my old install, when Resolbe still worked, was there as well.

So I hope installing an OS back-up does help - I'll report back here asap, wehich might be in the evening, as I'll have to leave soon.ĮDIT: My back-up is corrupt, thank you freeware, so I'll have to do a fresh Windows-install. I could render one small batch, the next time I tried things like starting as an admin, trying to rename the harddrives, taking care of "spaces" in names of harddrives or folders anywhere in the chain, re-adding harddrives in the prefs, downgrading Resolve one version - nothing helped. Please ensure that DaVinci Resolve has write permission for the path selected and the first drive you list in Preferences. What happens was: I had two drives listed in the preferences and suddenly, from one day to the other, I couldn't render anymore to neither of them, which hasn't been a problem before, but then got that error-message with files named the same way as all the time before:ĭaVinci Resolve is unable to render to the selected path "xx" as it does not have write permission. Thanks Dwaine for getting back at me, appreciated!Īfter reading some othre threads where problems after an Yosemite-update were reported I am now installing an older back-up of my Win7 OS, hope that helps.
