Had the compensation be better, I would have continued with this company. The amount did not cover oil changes, flat repairs, new tires, and interior cleaning due to toner accidents. RICOH was aware of various design defects, and would fix them at their leisure.Īnother pitfall was the lack of compensation for the wear and tear on a vehicle. The quality of MFP's demised over the years, which lead to more service calls for the newer models. This was either due to lack of preventative maintenance, or the area was too big to handle for one technician. Being pulled out of my service area on a constant basis to assist technicians that were falling behind in service calls.

Trying to remember how it was sent or what carrier it was sent by is a struggle. Stressful part of the job is trying to locate a specific check when you deal with hundreds of checks a day. You will be lucky enough to get a 10 cent raise.

Helped me understand how to handle difficult situations concerning mailing out checks and matching documents properly and efficiently. Willing to help you out when you are behind on things. They do micro manage at times, but overall it is not too bad. The responsibility you have and the rate of pay you get is not worth it. Mailroom function is not designed for one person. You do get 30 min lunch but even then when you come back to your work, it puts your behind even more. I noticed you need to have exceptional organisational skills in order to not get behind on work. Working at Ricoh has been an interesting but yet stressful time.
